Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Um.
Actually. I’m not totally sure there’s a home out there for me. I’m not… not the cuddliest cat in the world, you know? Oh, I’m friendly, don’t get me wrong! I’m a good guy! Friendly, super playful, a real rough-and-tumble kind of guy, that’s me! I’m a man’s man of cats. I’m just not… that is… I’m kind of… “unrefined” in my people skills.
Fact is, I don’t deal with physical restraint real well. Kind of hits my panic button, you know? And I freak out a little. Um. Maybe a lot. So when the vet tried to give me a shot, well… let’s just say that I had to be sedated, first. Yeah, I’m a little over the top with that. Can’t help it, though. It’s a thing with me.
So I’m looking for someone who is willing to accept me as I am - friendly and super fun, but not cuddly. And not good about being held down or forced to do stuff.
But I’m a good guy. And there has to be someone out there who wants a big, strong, manly cat like me. Sure, I’m unrefined, but I’m also friendly and fun!
So if you maybe know of someone who wants a big, awesome cat like me (and they don’t have small children), can you please send them my way? Tell them to ask for Marley – that’s me!
Marley has been vaccinated, wormed, spayed/neutered and tested negative for FELV/FIV which is all included in the $25 adoption fee. If you would like to adopt this cat, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays) All cats must leave the shelter in a carrier. If you do not bring one with you, one must be purchased at the shelter if available for $5.
