Rey's Story...
Meet Rey! She is a little cutie that you will surely want to me. She was born around November 14 2016, and will make a fabulous companion to a family. She is social, affectionate and very playful. Leia, Rey, Jyn and Vader are being fostered in a Bolingbrook, Illinois home, which is where you would go to meet this beauty! She arrived to us from a very over crowded shelter in Hazard Co., KY. She would do well in a home with other cats, and/or a cat friendly dog with proper introductions.

To meet this sweet girl, an approved adoption application needs to be submitted and approved. You can find find the adoption application by going to our website at, and clicking on the forms tab. We do not have a physical building so there are no viewing hours, thus the reason for the application needs to be submitted prior to making an appointment for a meet and greet with this adorable kitten. If you see this this post, she is available for adoption so there is no need to email us asking about availability. We update regularly

Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but is required prior to making arrangements for a meet and greet as all of our animals are cared for in homes. We can't schedule meet and greets until the application is submitted and approved. We don't have a building so there are no viewing hours. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes by wonderful families who volunteer their time to save these precious souls. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Rey is too young to be fixed. There is a $100 fully refundable spay/neuter deposit to ensure it is done. Your check is held and will be voided once the surgery is done. You will receive a coupon to have the surgery done through one of our participating vets which we will be billed for when she is old enough. Spaying is a mandatory part of adoption. Once we receive confirmation that the spay is done, your check, which we are holding, will be voided.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rey, a Naperville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Naperville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Naperville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naperville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naperville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naperville paves the way for another one to be saved.
