Leon's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Leon's Story...
Leon is a big beautiful 3 year old Rottweiler/ Lab mix. He was very thin when picked up by animal control and then taken to the pound. He was given extra time at the pound but no one adopted him so we stepped in to save him! We think this goof ball will weigh about 125 lbs once he puts weight back on and will need someone experienced with large dogs. He is good with kids and other dogs. He has been neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed and is heartworm NEGATIVE! His adoption fee is $150.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leon, a Attalla Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever for sale in Attalla, or seeking a Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Attalla.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Attalla already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Attalla breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Attalla paves the way for another one to be saved.
