Shasta's Story...
Meet Shasta!

Shasta is a sweet, gorgeous one year old Pit Bull Terrier. She was abandoned and left chained to a dog house and was starving when a good samaritan found her. She has been living with a dog trainer and loves kids and other dogs. She loves to play, but she really just wants to be with you (she is a cuddler)!

Shasta knows sit, come, no, go to bed and she is learning to walk nicely on a leash.

Shasta is spayed, micro-chipped, up to date on shots, has a negative heart worm test and is on monthly heart worm and flea meds. Her adoption fee is $190.

If you would like to meet Shasta, please contact Jennifer at or Karen at Thanks.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shasta, a New Albany Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in New Albany, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in New Albany.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Albany already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Albany breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Albany paves the way for another one to be saved.
