Hippie's Story...
Meet Hippie!

Hippie is a gorgeous, super friendly Australian Cattledog Mix (Red Heeler)....maybe mixed with Collie. He is about 2 years old and he loves everyone - dogs, cats kids! He came from a home with all three and he did wonderfully with everyone.

Hippie loves to play with a ball or toy - but he really just wants to be with you! He is a big cuddle! He walks nicely on a leash and will sit and shake. Hippie is also house broken and crate trained.

Hippie is neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on all shots, has a negative heart worm test and is on monthly heart worm and flea meds. His adoption fee is $190.

If you would like to meet Hippie, please contact Jennifer at jennpedbutler@me.com or Karen at NAPR411@gmail.com. Thanks.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hippie, a New Albany Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in New Albany, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in New Albany.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Albany already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Albany breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Albany paves the way for another one to be saved.
