Yumi's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Yumi's Story...
Yumi is a beautiful black, cropped and docked female Doberman. She weighs about 60 lbs and will turn 2 years old on 4/04/2017. Yumi has a lot of energy and is super smart so she needs an owner who has time to keep her body and mind occupied. She loves to play but is also happy to hang out with you to watch TV after she burns off some energy. Yumi loves our big back yard and always joyfully runs a few laps around the yard when she first goes outside. Check out Yumi's video: https://youtu.be/k9AN14JdZpg Due to Yumi's love for running and that she will not "do her business" on lead, she needs a decent sized fenced (no invisible fences) yard. Yumi loves other dogs and is an energetic player. She would be happy to be your one and only Princess or could be in a home with an equally energetic, young, large breed male playmate. Yumi's playful enthusiasm may overwhelm small and medium sized dogs and older dogs. Yumi will chase cats and is too rough for a home with children. Yumi will pull on lead, especially if she sees a potential doggie playmate or wildlife, but she does much better on lead if you use a Gentle Leader training collar. Yumi is house and crate trained and rides well in a car. If you are looking for a sweet girl to be your special gal and you have lots of love and time for our Yumi, email to arrange to meet our special girl.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yumi, a Arlington Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
