Astro's Story...
Hey there! They call me Astro & I'm I'm a 3 year old staffy mix which means I'm just a big goofball! I love going for walks & chewing on toys on the couch. I sleep well in my crate at night & when my mom goes away. I also go right outside to go potty as soon as I wake up or come out of my crate. I'm a great playmate and love playing with my 2 foster sisters but I would also probably be okay being a spoiled only child. I love everyone I meet but I don't know my own size so small humans could get knocked over. I bet I'd be fun to take to obedience training! I am such a cool dude, I look forward to being a great ambassador for my breed! I am up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. My adoption fee is $200. Apply to adopt me here: https://rescueofhope.com/adoption-application/.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Astro, a Grand Rapids American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
