King's Story...
Hello, my royal subject! My name is King and though I look like royalty, I'm definitely more of a jester. I'm a 5-7 year old shepherd mix and I weigh 45 pounds. I'm a loyal guy and love to meet new people. My foster mom calls me her shadow. I love to ride in the car and go to new places, too. I like to play with other dogs but sometimes drive them a little crazy since I don't always let up when they want me to. Oh, and sometimes I steal their toys but it's just so funny! I'm a shepherd mix so I'm sensitive, smart, and vocal! I'll learn quickly, but I'll let you know if I don't like what you're doing. I walk nicely on my leash, am housetrained, and though I might protest a little, I'm crate trained, too. I know some commands already and follow my manners well so obedience training isn't necessary. A fenced in yard would be great, but it doesn't have to be a high fence since I'm not a jumper. My foster mom isn't sure how I do around cats or kids yet. I'm up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. My adoption fee is $200. Apply to adopt me here: https://rescueofhope.com/adoption-application/.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

King, a Grand Rapids Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
