Junior - Juni Adoption Pending's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Junior - Juni Adoption Pending's Story...
Juni is a five year standard brindle dachshund. He came to us after he was severely burned in a house fire. Juni lost two of his humans and his furry brother and sister.

Juni loves to play with a toy and sleep in the big bed. Every night he loves to run to the big bed and play "Get the Juni." This is a game where his foster mom chases him around the bed and they play tag.

Juni has some physical scars and he has lost his ears and left eye due to burns. He has a few spots that are still sensitive and will need to have a nice soft harness instead of a collar but it's sure doesn't slow him down at all.

Juni also has some emotional scars and will have a nightmare from time to time. He would do best with at least one other dog to keep him company when his humans are not home and he has always had furry friends to play with. Juni is semi housebroken as he has a doggy door at his foster mommy's house.

Juni is a very loving soul who needs that special someone to love him as he is and maybe give him a job to do.

Juni has had a long road to recovery but he is ready for his forever home now. Are you his new family????

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Junior - Juni Adoption Pending, a Marcellus Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Marcellus, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Marcellus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marcellus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marcellus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marcellus paves the way for another one to be saved.
