Charlie's Story...
2 years old
Just an oversized puppy! Charlie was signed over to our shelter when he had a problem with chewing. His previous owner did let us know that he has been housebroken, loves other dogs and playful with children and knows several commands. Charlie is a busy body and will want to sniff out the whole house and thinks everything he finds is something to play with. He will need to be kenneled when left alone so he doesn’t get into things. Charlie is just a great big lovable lug who loves attention and would love a home with lots of people who are always around to play with. Charlie is a king size sweet heart looking for his forever family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Fruit Heights Mastiff/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mastiff/Boxer for sale in Fruit Heights, or seeking a Mastiff/Boxer dog from a breeder in Fruit Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fruit Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fruit Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mastiff/Boxer breeders who help with Mastiff/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fruit Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
