Facts about Tarzan

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black (All)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Tarzan is a very active kitty. He loves jumping off things, swinging from things and just loves being loved. He's can play rough because he has so many others to play with but he has his calm moments also. He loves to explore. He was born around April 7th. 2008. He has 5 sisters who are calm compared to him. He is a very lovable boy.

What Tarzan really loves that makes him so funny is the vacuum cleaner! He will run to it when you turn it on just so you will use it on him ( the wand attachment not the floor cleaner of course). He won't leave you alone until you suck his skin with it. He also really loves dogs. He may be black but he is anything but bad luck! A big sweetheart is what he is!!look at our Shining Stars. You just may find an overlooked treasure!

About Animal Allies of Texas

About Our Rescue Group...

Animal Allies of Texas is a 501(c)(3) animal advocacy/rescue organization, dedicated to improving the quality of life in our community. Our goal is to build a no-kill shelter on enough land to house not only "adoptable" animals, but "treatable" ones as well - those who need medical care or behavior modification to become adoptable. While working toward this goal, we will also engage in community service and humane education projects to help bring about "humanity championed by thought."

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoption events at one or more locations every week end. Please check the calendar on our web site www.animalalliesoftexas.org for specific locations and times.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters must submit an application, either online via our web site www.animalalliesoftexas.org or a paper application at an adoption event. General requirements for adoption: You must live in the DFW/Ft. Worth/North Texas area - we do not adopt outside this area. Dogs must be primarily inside, and cats must be totally inside. Cats must not be declawed. All pets must be spayed/neutered if this has not been done prior to adoption. Adopter must agree to a home visit prior to adoption. Adopter MUST agree to return pet to AAT if he/she can no longer keep the pet or if AAT deems it to be in the best interest of the pet. An adoption agreement detailing these and other requirements must be signed to finalize adoption. Current fees are: puppies (under 6 months)-$200, dogs-$175; kittens (under 6 months)-$125, cats-$110. This covers all vaccinations, spay/neuter and microchipping.
