I'm a Coonhound who walked up to someone's land outside of Marshall, TX. I was emaciated, exhausted and did not have any where to lay my head. The man who found me could have taken me to several places, but thankfully he took me to Pet Savers. The staff took one look at me and immediately prepared a spot for me. By now I have had many tasty meals at my temporary home and am settling in. I have a ways to go till I gain my weight back and get healthy enough to be spayed. My rescuer said I acted like I wanted to go inside his house so I may have been someone's pet. For now I am content knowing I am going to be fed on a regular basis and have a place to lie down. I will be a fabulous life long companion to someone, who's looking for a dog like me.
UPDATE: Bayou Huntress is in a foster home
