My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What we know about this gentle sorcerer thus far is truly endearing. First off Forrest was born with high visual impairment meaning he doesn't even have a cornea in his right eye and his left eye has about 20% vision. If you're thinking, "OMG poor dog, he's blind", stop immediately. This guy... learns his surroundings in 5 minutes of exploration, clears the back of the couch to get to the couch because he's a snuggling napper extraordinaire. Housetrained like a pro, he speaks in communication if he has to go potty. If you come home and panic, "where's the dog?!", make sure to look in your bed under all the covers because he's likely to be happily snoring in dreamland. He's body does indicate to us that he grew up in too small of crate. His curvature of the spine, filed crate teeth and once overly long nails for a THREE year old dog, we ask ourselves how is he so perfect? Forest's calm nature has at least myself believing that he knew all along he had to go through terrible things in order to get to a place of unconditional love and safety. He went through his path like a soldier, never complaining, perhaps sometimes scared but nonetheless forward he went. Well, Forest you have certainly arrived at your receiving unconditional love and care chapter of life. You are safe and will NEVER EVER experience suffering again. This magic burst of breath loves dogs, children, stars, naps, brail books, walks, sunbathing, listening to the game whatever it may be, sucking on his favorite blanket (we believe this is something he did crated in his past life to occupy himself 😫), hanging out with the family, napping, spooning, car rides, laughing, being a dork, being a hero and having no idea how truly amazing he is. When you meet him you can literally tell that he knew his path would lead him to his real forever home. Home, come get your boy. It's freaky but true. You are a gift, Forest. We are grateful for your heart, soul and survivor self. We love you to moon and 12 times back again. http://mcprescue.org/adoption-application/
