My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi ya’ll, it’s me Rosie Mae!

After being rescued from the streets of the Corridor of Cruelty when I was only two, my foster mommy couldn't let me go and adopted me, and that was more than three years ago.

We are two peas in a pod who have a fantastic life together. Sadly, my mommy is relocating internationally and can't take me with her. Though we are both very sad, we know that I will find another great home soon. I told mom that our home is awesome but an even bigger yard would be super cool!

Mommy says I’m such a fun, beautiful girl who constantly makes her laugh. When not getting a belly rub, I'm more than likely chasing lizards and squirrels in the yard. My two favorite things are meeting new people and going for walks. Although I have a best dog friend Buddy, who lives across the street, mom says it's better if I'm an only child. I am house trained and don’t care to chew on anything that doesn’t belong to me either. I have excellent leash manners and know how to sit, stay and come when called off leash. I make friends with people easily including respectful children.

Everyone tells me that I’m a sweetie and how cuddly and affectionate I am. Mommy says that though I’m a 65 lb, I think I’m a lap dog. I miss sitting on my mom's lap. Would you let me sit on yours?
