Dahlia's Story...
Name: Dahlia

Age: 13 years old

Status: Sweet and sprightly senior with lots of love left to give - Dahlia is an absolute doll and ready for a second chance at a furever home!

Likes: Dahlia is a confident, gorgeous cat with a love for exploring and affection. She is very relaxed and calm, and upon arriving at her foster home, immediately decided to check out the place and spent no time hiding or being shy. She adores being pet and brushed - which will be necessary when she is adopted as her fur is long and glamorous and needs to be
taken care of 🙂

Cutest Quirk: Dahlia has no fear: not only does she love to greet her foster mom at the front door when she arrives home, but has been very welcoming of guests as well! She will walk straight up to them, saying hello.

In Dahlia's foster mom's own words, "All in all, Dahlia is such a joy and a wonderful cat. so well behaved and easy-going and just loves people." Dahlia may be considered a senior cat, but she is full of years of love to give! She has had her full blood work done too and is very healthy! We can't imagine why Dahlia would have been abandoned because she's such a wonderful cat, but we're confident that the purrfect home for her is out there. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dahlia, a THORNHILL Himalayan cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in THORNHILL, or seeking a Himalayan cat from a breeder in THORNHILL.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in THORNHILL already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a THORNHILL breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in THORNHILL paves the way for another one to be saved.
