Lena's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Lena's Story...
Go ahead, lean in…I’ve got a secret to share with you. Let me gaze into your eyes and whisper in your ear…I am the girl you’ve been waiting for, a total score for any GSD lover. With energy to spare and brains galore I’m ready to work hard learning everything you want to teach me. Take me on daily adventures to keep my mind and body well exercised and I am sure to be the happiest pooch in town. Playing with other dogs is a blast, but not as fun as tormenting cats (the cats don't think it is as fun as I do though, so a cat free home is a must) ! And I will love the company of sturdy children, just don’t be surprised if I knock them over with excitement! My crate training is superb and a great start to everything else I need to learn. I just know I’ll be top of the class in obedience school! So go ahead and lean in…

1 ½ years old-66lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes microchip & registration, spay, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lena, a Portland German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
