Tiger Lily

Are you familiar with calicos? They are fascinating, little intelligent troublemakers who are always expressive with their opinions.They are divas--they clearly know they have beautiful coats of many colors. Calicos are smart and very interactive with their humans. Look at the expressions on this beautiful girl’s face. She lets you know right away what is pleasing to her and what is not. She is polite and really very good natured but she is better at showing her feelings than many cats. She does NOT like cameras and turns her head away very deliberately.
Sometimes she scowls at the camera. Look at the last picture below when she had had quite enough of me and was about to lose her temper. I tried hard not to laugh at her expressions. ( Little cutie.) I haven’t had her long but she is already assuming ownership of everything around. She spent four nights with a previous foster mom en route to me and she slept in bed with her, crawling in in the middle of the night seeking warmth and company. She loves attention. She wants admiration, toys, play time, windows, eye contact and lots of flattery. She has clearly been very loved. We have no idea why she was surrendered to a shelter.
With the flattened face and the “break “, the indentation, in her nose and with her long silky fur Tiger Lily clearly has a Persian parent or two. She weighs 7 1/2 pounds and has a long colorful body. She would probably benefit from gaining a pound or two. Tiger Lily was left at the shelter with a shyer young seal point ragdoll girl whom I will post soon. The shelter asked us if we could take these two into foster because, traumatized at the sudden change in their lives, they were not eating and not doing well there. I am so glad to have them.
This beautiful girl will make someone a loving and very entertaining companion. She is great armful of warm, fluffy softness. It would be best if her new adopter wants to be owned by a cat. (If you are a diva yourself she is probably not the best choice for you.)
Tiger Lily eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.
