Monty's Story...
Monty is Boxer mix puppy born in July 2016 who was born to love you! Monty is very sweet and snuggly, he can never get close enough to you! Friendly with everyone he meets, including other dogs. We don’t know how he is with kids or cats. He loves treats, naps and squeaky toys! Super smart, he is making a lot of progress with crate and potty training. He is currently learning how to master sit, down and stay and how to walk nice on a leash. Monty is a big goofball, definitely on the clumsy side it could be his big puppy feet. Overall, Monty is a relaxed, mellow dog who just wants to plop down and relax by your side... or right on top of you!

To help Monty get acclimated to his new home, the adoption fee includes one complimentary training session for adopters that live in Macomb County and some areas of Oakland County.

The adoption fee is $175 and includes: neuter, microchip and vaccines

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Monty, a Rochester Hills Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Rochester Hills, or seeking a Boxer puppy from a breeder in Rochester Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
