Maribel is a female Havanese mix only 1 year old. She is a great sturdy yet manageable size, weighing 21 pounds full grown. Maribel's claim to fame, of course, are her gorgeous ice blue eyes. Her eyes are mesmerizing for sure and set off beautifully by her thick, wavy cream colored coat. Her coat is low/non-shedding. She is a striking dog and a real head turner. Maribel is young, fun, and playful. She is very interactive with your voice and so you can get her playing just by talking to her or telling her to go get her toy (in a high, excited voice). She will bounce around like a puppy and make you laugh out loud. Maribel is engaging and agreeable with people and would be a wonderful family dog. She is excellent around children and around other dogs. She will never make a fuss and tries hard to adapt and fit in to her environment. Maribel appears to be completely housebroken and has excellent indoor manners. She is patient and kind, but does like to be included and will come running when you call. If you open the back door to the yard and point, Maribel is smart enough to know its time to go outside. She will bop around in the yard and then come right back in. She likes the company of her people and although she never makes a fuss, she does like attention, petting, and having her belly rubbed. One of her favorite tricks is to stop when you approach her and then quickly flop over on her back for a belly rub. She is a funny girl. She rides great in the car, walks nicely on leash and has a good amount of energy for long walks or hikes, but she is not hyper and can be quite mellow inside. Maribel was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where she was brought in stray. She is one of a kind and will get lots of attention wherever you go, guaranteed! Not only that, Maribel is going to make a wonderful all around, loving pet and companion. She would be fine in a home with another dog or also as the only dog. She loves treats and is easy to please. Maribel is very healthy and ready for her new forever loving home today!
Maribel’s adoption donation is $525 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED and DEFLEAED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
