Meet GRAYSON in Rhode Island
We do not transport dogs out of the area. We ask that you live within 50 miles of the dog's location. We are an all volunteer organization and can only respond when a completed application is filed. We do list our requirements, so please read carefully. Sometimes the ad states the date the dog is expected to arrive into Rhode Island....so please don't be discouraged if you don't hear right back. All dogs are adopted through contract.
WE DO REQUIRE A PHYSICAL FENCE for most dogs as they have gotten used to be outside.
Grayson is one very special dog. He is mellow, sweet and so very gentle. He loves relaxing by your side or laying outside in the sun (which is why we are asking fro a fenced area as a MUST). He is roughly 2-3-4 years old and about 35 lbs. We guess he is a schnauzer mix with the smarts of the schnauzer breed.
Grayson has had a tough life. He was abandoned in the rural area of Arkansas.. By the length of his coat, and the fact that he was so unrecognizable, he must have been there a very long time on his own somehow surviving. He was brought into our rescue and has undergone heart worm treatment and is now healthy and ready for his forever family.
We are looking for a mellow family who will include him in all their activities and show him how people really treat their dog---"as family members". He spends most of his time just laying around by your side. He is great company and doesn't require much attention.
Once we have reviewed your application and think it is a match we will notify you. Please understand that as these dogs are fostered we do get to know them and have a good idea of their forever home. We do NOT save applications, but you may put multiple names on one applciation. We do not choose by a first come first serve basis. So if the dog is still up on the site, consider the dog AVAILABLE. We do take down quickly when adopted.
