Little Bob's Story...
Little Bob is a cute friendly mini donkey. He was named Bob, because someone bobbed his tail, not sure why. He is the sweetest thing, more of a pet than a guard donkey. He loves attention and loves to be brushed and have his ears rubbed. He's a great companion to other animals. He's been gelded and current on all vaccinations. He likes to spend time in the pasture during the day, but goes into the barn at night and when it's raining, so adopter must have a comfortable shelter.

Bob's adoption fee is $250, which is pretty reasonable, considering we spend over $300 to get him gelded.

If you are interested in giving Little Bob a new home, please send an email.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Little Bob, a Austin Donkey/Mule/Burro/Hinny/Miniature was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Donkey/Mule/Burro/Hinny/Miniature for sale in Austin, or seeking a Donkey/Mule/Burro/Hinny/Miniature from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Donkey/Mule/Burro/Hinny/Miniature breeders who help with Donkey/Mule/Burro/Hinny/Miniature rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
