Meet Sary! She’s a beautiful little lady with a lot of love to give. Sary loves nothing more than cuddling up on a nice warm lap. When a lap is unavailable, she will settle for blankets and pillows. She’s happiest when she can spend the day lounging around with her people and receiving scratches on her ears.
Sary is an older adult dog but remains active and can easily hold her own against her bigger, younger foster brother. She seems fine with other dogs. She hasn’t been around children but would probably be OK with older kids that know how to treat her like the lady she is. She has a few toys that she likes, but none as much as she likes your attention. She is be house-trained, crate-trained, and has learned several basic obedience commands. She’s not very noisy but will bark to let you know if your neighbors are coming ‘round. She loves going on walks and curiously sniffing her way through her surroundings.
She’s been staying with her foster family for a few weeks now. She was only 12.5 lbs back then, but is on her way towards being a much healthier weight - we expect she'll top out around 20 lbs. She is up to date on vaccinations. Her foster family isn’t exactly sure of her history, but we believe she was used as a breeder - it is readily apparent that she has had many babies. She was recently spayed but has recovered from surgery and is ready to meet her forever family!
