Romeo keeps improving-he is now at a normal weight, coat becoming healthy, & responding well to obedience training!!! A very calm, well mannered dog that loves to play with his dog friend & foster Dad, but also loves to cuddle on the lounge chair & go on car rides to do errands. He is just an easy going guy with a lot of love to give!
Romeo is a very handsome Pit bull possibly Boxer mix that was found as a stray locally and held by the police. He is about 50 pounds. Romeo lives up to his name - he is a lover of everyone ; dogs, kids, and adults. He is aBoxer/Pit mix that is 48 lbs, 1-2 years old, H.B., crate trained, and walks well on a leash. We are working on basic obedience and he is doing well since he loves treats. Being a former stray, Romeo is very happy to be in a nice warm home with some dog friends. He holds no grudge about his past life and is very playful and friendly. Except for a minor skin condition and the need to gain a few pounds, he is very healthy. His one issue is food - he feels that since he finishes first, he should be allowed to help the other 3 dogs in his foster home eat theirs - NOT ! Romeo is such a wonderful dog and would be good with almost any family. Romeo has now been neutered, is up to date with vaccines, microchipped and is heartworm and Lyme negative. His adoption fee is $200.00. If you are interested in adopting Romeo, please visit out website at www.LHARinc.org go to Adopt and complete the dog adoption application.
