My name is Shadow!

Domestic Shorthair Cat for adoption in Cherry Hill, New Jersey - Shadow

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Shadow's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Shadow's Story...
Shadow's mom went into a care home and 4 year old Shadow is having a hard time adjusting after losing the only home he has ever known.

In his old home, Shadow was very friendly and loved to play. He would rub against his mom's legs, and as his name states, he would follow her from room to room because he likes company. Shadow got along fine with the other cats in the home.

After being surrendered to our animal rescue, Shadow is very scared, with closed off body language. He will need a little time to adjust but the most important step is to get him into a real home. Please take Shadow home and give him a chance to show his true colors!

Shadow is neutered, leukemia/FIV negative, and current on vaccines. Shadow is currently housed at our Petco adoption center, 2230 Rt. 70 West in Cherry Hill, NJ. Walk-in adoption hours on Saturday and Sunday from 11am-2pm, or e-mail admin@camdencompanions.org to make a weekday appointment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shadow, a Cherry Hill Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cherry Hill, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Cherry Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cherry Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cherry Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cherry Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
