Odin's Story...
This pure bred yellow lab is an owner surrender. In his current home he is not getting the needed exercise and attention he needs. He is kept crated for over 8 hours a day while the family is working and when they come home only let him out for short periods because they are caring for an infant. They did not plan on all these live changes and know that it is just not fair for Odin to live in a box. He needs a family that will give him the love, attention and exercise that he so desperately needs. He is a typical lab - is eager to please, loves FOOD and will learn quickly. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Odin, a Deer Park Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Deer Park, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Deer Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Deer Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Deer Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Deer Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
