Trixie's Story...
Are you looking for a kitty who LOVES to LOVE? Well, here I am, you found me!!! I'm Trixie and I'm a purr machine. I am a sweet, affectionate and friendly girl who is just full of love. My foster mamma says I'm a very sweet and always have a happy purr for my hooman. I also love playing with my toys (especially those stringy looking wand ones), my foster buddies, AND getting no particular order. My brother (Tucker) and I were found in a box in someone's yard. Luckily for us, she contacted St Francis and got us into a really nice foster home. Here we are leaning all about indoor living, love, fun toys, love, yummy food. I'm hoping the next big thing to come my way is a family to love me and for me to adore for the rest of my life. Looking to be the center of someone's attention? Adopt me, I certainly wants to be the center of yours! Maybe you'll consider my brother Tucker too! Kisses and Purrs, Trixie

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trixie, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
