My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Napa and I'm a goof ball and love bug. My momma, Cali, was rescued at a gas station in California and later revealed her secret of being pregnant with me and my brother. Both found their forever homes already so NOW it's time for me to find mine, don't you think?

My short life hasn't been easy for me but I don't let that drag me down. Ever since I was a tiny kitten, I had nasal discharge which was constantly treated until it was discovered that it is chronic nasal discharge. No big deal, I take my medication hidden in cream cheese without protest. Medical cost for that are $30 a year. Then, a little bit later I was diagnosed with glaucoma and my right eye needed to be removed since the medication wasn't working for me. Again, not a big deal. I didn't let this bother me one minute and my foster parents report that I'm more loving, more playful (if that's even possible) after the surgery. If you like to learn more, ask the people from SOS about it, they know everything about me.

I’m still one of the most playful, outgoing, and mischievous cats in my foster home. I’ve gotten along with every kitten/cat that’s come and gone in my foster home. My favorite toys are strings, ping pong balls, twisty toys….and other kittens/cats. In my foster home, I live peacefully with cats of all ages and genders and I'm also good with dogs if they are not too scary.

I’m neither a vocal cat nor a lap cat but I will snuggle up in bed a few times a week. I guess I could be an only cat but I’d prefer not to be. I love lying near a window, bird watching and/or sun bathing at my foster home but I’d rather do this in my forever home. As you can see in the photo to the right, I share my cat bed with my kitten brother TwinkleToes to whom I have a developed a unique bond as a big sister.

If you would like to meet me, please contact SOS either by phone (520) 445-3889 or by email to info@SOScatrescueAZ.org You could also fill out an adoption application, and you will be contacted about meet-and-greet possibilities. Thank you, Napa
