My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

16 year old Odin was relinquished to the Lancaster, CA Animal Shelter in December 2016. He must have known some human kindness because although he was getting sick in the shelter, he slowly came out of his shell to staff and volunteers. In January 2017 he was rescued by Furever Purr and is currently in a foster home in Santa Clarita. With love, attention, and antibiotics he regained his health and is now showing his easy-going personality.

Odin is litter-box trained and is a purr machine. He is just the right amount of vocal - he loves talking to you! He has learned how to be a 'lap-cat' in his foster home and has learned that getting 'booped' on the nose is a good thing. You can most likely find Odin snuggled up on his pillow, or standing perfectly still next to you requesting pets and massages.

He doesn't need a lot of toys or a fancy cat condo; he is happy just hanging out! An ideal home for Odin is one that can provide the basic needs for a senior cat: a cat bed, medical, food/water, a litter box, but also a home where he can feel safe, comfortable, and be loved.

Odin is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, has recently had a veterinary visit with a bloodwork panel completed, and is negative for FeLV/FIV.
