Cherry's Story...
Hi my name is Cherry, whats yours? Ive had a rough start in life so far. Me and my sissies Apple and Peach were thrown from a car window into a mobile home park. We found a nice lady and lived under her mobile home for a couple weeks before she contacted St Francis for help. So happy to be safe and inside now. Me and my sissies , were all very sweet! we purr purr purr when our foster mama comes in the room. We are just so grateful to be alive. We are hoping we find our forever families soon. We would be okay as an only pet or with one or two other animals. I hope to meet you soon! Love, Cherry

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cherry, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
