It's almost Valentine's Day and I'm looking for my perfect match. My name is Emmie. I'm a 7-week old pug-mix I'm as cute as a button. I'm a really smart girl- I'm currently crate training and I'm totally rocking it. I cry for the first minute and then I settle in for bed time or rest time. I'm working really hard at potty training and I'm doing great with that too. My new family will have to be patient with me- just like all of us puppies- I like to chew and I need to be taught what's okay to chew on (this is the part where you offer me a fun chew toy! woohoo!). I absolutely love to play with the young children in my foster home. I especially love to run around and play basketball. I don't quite understand all the rules, but I do love the running parts! I also love getting snuggled and read to with a blanket- one of my human foster children thinks I'm a baby doll, and I certainly don't mind playing along if that means some extra cuddles! Sleeping right under my people's necks is really the joy of my life. I am a hard-core snuggler. I enjoy having my ears rubbed and being told how cute I am. I have really pretty hazel eyes and beautiful soft, dark hair with some caramel patches on my paws, chest, and face. I haven't been cat-tested but I do great with older grumpy dogs and I learn quickly from their feedback. I'm the perfect mix of snuggly and playful. While my start was rocky at a high-kill shelter, I now look forward to the future life of a rescued pet and I'm ready for my furever family! We could be a match made in heaven!
