Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our hours are by appointment only. If you are a good match, we will contact you, typically within 72 hours. YOU WILL HEAR FROM US ONLY IF WE FIND YOU TO BE A GOOD MATCH FOR ONE OF OUR RESCUE ANIMALS AND OUR ADOPTION GUIDELINES/PROGRAM. We must review a completed application before an appointment is arranged. No exceptions. All visits with the rescue animals are by approved applications and appointments only.
Bodil is new to rescue! He really is a love sponge. Bodil wants nothing more than to be petted, cuddled and have a belly rub! He absolutely loves attention and is a very loving dog.
Bodil absolutely loves outdoor activities. He loves going for walks and loves going to the beach! Bodil even loves meeting dogs on leash in the neighborhood. He wants to make friends with the dogs he meets.
Bodil absolutely loves riding in the car. He is up for any new adventure, whether it is a trip to the beach, to the grocery store or just to Starbucks for a Puppacino. Bodil is ready where you and life take him!
Bodil would love an active person who likes camping or hiking as he has plenty of energy. He is best suited in an environment with a secure fenced yard and a house. Bodil’s foster parents have worked on his obedience and he knows “sit” and “lay down” so far! He is a quick study.
We are told he has previously lived with another large breed dog and small dogs. However, we have not tested him with small dogs or cats. We are looking for a home that has another large breed dog or no other pets!
If you would like to adopt Bodil, please visit our website and apply today!
PLEASE NOTE: The information contained within this biography is based on observations from the current foster home. In no way can we predict future behavior and or temperament as individual household dynamics vary greatly, and are impacted by the experience and leadership of those within the home.
The first step in the adoption process is to visit our website and submit an application: http://www.washingtongsd.org/application.html
A volunteer will review your application, shortly.
The adoption process includes completion of an adoption application, a vet check, a home visit and a lifetime adoption contract.
Adoptions are not done on a first come first serve basis. WA German Shepherd Rescue is the companion animal's advocate and will select the most suitably matched home for the dog's general needs and the unique needs of each individual dog in our care. We reserve the right to refuse service and adoption without explanation.
