Riley's Story...
Riley is is a lucky boy. He was found by members of our rescue with a severely broken leg. He had probably been hit by a car some time ago and it was never fixed. The break was to severe to correct so the leg had to be removed. He does very well without it and he does not miss it at all. He is very fast and all things work just fine. He is happy and healthy. He has been vetted and neutered and microchipped. He is crate trained and house broken. He gets along with other dogs . He is a sweet dog. If you would like to have this sweet soul in your home please call Vicky@760-672 2258. We are a rescue. An adoption fee will apply. Please go online to fill out our application www.k9connectionpetadoption.org. Come see our dogs at Pet Smart in Encinitas from 12 to 230 on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month or at the Pet Smart in Oceanside (471-2 College Blvd, off of College and the 76) from 12-3 on the 3rd Saturday of the month.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Riley, a Carlsbad Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Carlsbad, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Carlsbad.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carlsbad already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carlsbad breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carlsbad paves the way for another one to be saved.
