Lulu's Story...
Lulu is a one year, six-month-old black female cat. Lulu was found wandering in a residential neighborhood with two other cats, and when the volunteer stopped to check on them, Lulu bounded right over for some food and attention. Lulu was thin and hungry, and very relieved to be inside in safety and warmth! Lulu is very sweet and mellow, and loves human and feline companionship. She’s playful, perky, and well…cute. If you’re looking for a gentle and mellow girl, come meet Lulu!

At PAAWS RI, all of the cats that come into our care are spayed/neutered, receive a rabies vaccination, distemper vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, microchipping, and testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lulu, a Warwick Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Warwick, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Warwick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warwick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warwick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warwick paves the way for another one to be saved.
