Chica's Story...
Meet Chica!

She comes to us on sad circumstances along with her fur family members! Their momma has unfortunately had to go to Hospice. The day she found out she made appts to have her beloved dogs put to sleep.

One of our adopters, is her social worker & stepped in to save the day for these cuties who are surely not ready to leave this earth!

They are middle aged, a little chunky, but absolute lovers that are so far doing good with other dogs, cats & kids :) Her adoption fee is $75. She is spayed, vaccinated & microchipped :) Let us know if interested!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chica, a Phoenix Cairn Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Cairn Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Cairn Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
