Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please read full description:
Update (3-6-17) Frizz is doing great! He is all groomed and handsome. He is ready for his forever home. Frizz would do best in a home with another dog that likes to play. He is a busy guy with a lot of energy to burn and loves to romp and bounce around. He is very sweet though and just the right size for fun and travel.
This sweet guy is a 1 yr old Cocker/Springer Spaniel mix we are told by his previous owner (the breeder). He weighed 24 lbs on 30 Jan at his vet appt. He needs to put on some weight and he has a grooming apt in 2 weeks for a very matted coat. This boy is sweet though. He loves people, and is a complete goofball. He flops around like the uncoordinated puppy he is. He is a social dog who wants attention and companionship. Frizz is great with cats, other dogs, and children too! Frizz is a great companion for a family but will need regular grooming maintenance to prevent the matting he currently is suffering with. We are working our way through it but the groomer will be able to really make him handsome and tangle free. Feel free to follow his progress on facebook with updated photos, etc.
If interested in meeting and potentially adopting, please complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Adoption fee is $175. All residents are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped as well as other medical needs cared for prior to adoption.
*Breeds and mature sizes are not guaranteed. Are based on appearance, vet recommendation, or previous owner's information if a surrender.
*A fenced yard is required if a yard is present. If no yard due to apartment/condo, leash law and access to a dog park is required for adoption*
*No resident is guaranteed housetraining as we focus on major behavioral and medical rehabilitation. Basic training is also a great way for an adopter to bond with their adopted family member. Additionally, a dog displaying housetrained behaviors in rescue can regress in a new environment and routine.
