Delilah's Story...
You'll never meet a kitten with more sass per ounce than Delilah. Originally from the Humane Society, Delilah wasn't happy being in a small cage and staff there thought she would blossom in foster care. They were right! It took a very short amount of time with her foster mom before Delilah was rolling around the floor looking for belly rubs and meowing insistently when she felt ignored.

She quickly befriended her foster mom's cats, and enjoys chasing them around the house. She seems to get along with all cats and would probably get along well with dogs too. She needs a forever family who will give her all sorts of love and attention. She enjoys sleeping with her people, ideally right next to their faces. She loves to hunt toys, play, and pounce. She has gotten into the habit of getting on her foster mom's shoulders and riding all around the house.

Approx. DOB 9/25/16

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Delilah, a St. Louis Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
