Lillie's Story...
This dog is being fostered in Dallas TX and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or the southern Oklahoma area.

NAME: Lillie
GENDER: Female (Spayed)

WEIGHT: About 9 Pounds
DOGS/CATS: Great with other small dogs, Yes with cats
CHILDREN: Great with children

Meet precious Lillie. This girl has an outgoing personality that is going to capture your heart.

Lillie’s journey with us started out a little rough. She was dumped in a park with her 3 puppies and on her own for a while. She was thin, covered in fleas, and heartworm positive however she was the best mom to her puppies! (See Oscar her last pup also in need of a forever home!). Lillie was immediately grateful to be saved and it shows. She braved heartworm treatment, being spayed and completely vetted and kept the best disposition. She has an amazing personality.

Lillie is a sweet girl who absolutely loves her foster siblings and family. She has been the star of the show at our adoption events as she loves to greet everyone who comes by with a big smile. Her tail is wagging so hard we think she might take off like a helicopter any time. LOL. She is definitely the social chairman of the group! She has never known a stranger!

Lillie also gets along great with the other foster dogs and even a cat in her foster home! She enjoys playing with them and hanging out with them. Lillie would love to be in a home with other dogs, but would be fine as an only pet as long as there is plenty of attention.

Lillie also adores her humans. She loves to sit on your lap and is content just being by your side. She is such a loyal companion. Lillie is also great with children. At 3 years old and about 9 pounds, she has the perfect size and disposition for a family dog.

Lillis is super smart. She is crate trained, housebroken and knows basic commands. She has picked up commands easily and loves to learn. Lillie also loves to go on walks and is very good on a leash. If your family enjoys family walks, this is your girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lillie, a Dallas Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
