Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sophia and Red and fun, sweet and lovable two-year-old, best friend, 60-pound, female and male terrier-mixes looking for a loving guardian – preferably together.
These wonderful dogs know the command sit and take treats extremely gently from your fingers. While Red is the snugglier of the two, and full of kisses, Sophia is the more playful and toy-loving. Red is a low-rider; while Sophia is a little taller.
They grew up in a home with a single mom and her six children ranging in age from one-year-old to 14. So, they are incredibly well-socialized and easy-going. When their care became too much for the woman, she decided to let them go.
These dogs great in the car and lovely on leashed walks. After they settle in to a new home and get on a regular schedule, they are housebroken as well as crate-trained.
Sophia loves to play ball and Red loves playing with Sophia. They rough house and wrestle together, but it’s all in fun.
To meet and possibly adopt Sophia and Red, please contact Joanne at 630-231-6860 or Sue at sjsindelar@gmail.com or 630-964-8535.
They are both extremely healthy, spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-tested. Their adoption fee of $250 each or $300 as a pair, benefits the rescued pets of Cry For Help Rescue. They are currently being kenneled in West Chicago, Illinois and would love to get out of the kennel and into a loving home.
