Sophia was born Lucy on Oct 2 2013. She was adopted and then returned after 3 years. She was not comfortable with the new baby after the baby started crawling. But her BFF is 6 now, she was 3 when they got her. Sadly they had to return her to us. This is the Bio her Foster / Trainer wrote for her. She has been in Training since Thanksgiving weekend. Hello All! I'd like to introduce Ms. Sophia! She's a super sweet, lovey girl who loves to go on walks, snuggle on the couch (or in bed) and play fetch with her squeaky tennis ball (she pretty much carries it everywhere!). She's perfectly content in her kennel if you have to leave. Her house training is outstanding. She's a little on the shy side which causes her to be fearful of other dogs and small children. So, she would do best as an only dog, in a home with no small children. She's been hanging at my house for the past few weeks and we've been working on her obedience and general manners, as well as bringing her out of her shell a bit. She is available for adoption through the Guardians of the Green Mile. You can fill out an adoption application at www.gotgm.org. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. If you know someone who may be interested, please have them contact me with any questions. At the very least, I'm asking everyone I know to please share her info so we can find her an awesome home to call her own. Thanks Jennifer Hendricks , Please complete the form to the best of your ability. Enter N/A if a question does not apply to you. Applicants must be 21 or older. All of GOTGM pets are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We do not adopt to households with pets who have not been spayed and/or neutered unless there is a medical reason. All pets will be fully vetted, UTD on vaccines, micro chipped, treated for parasites, and heartworm tested before adoption. Puppies that are too young for spay/neuter surgery at time of adoption will have the requirement and date included in their adoption contract. Adoption donation is $200 for dogs over 1 year old and $300 for puppies/dogs under 1 year old.
The first step to adopting or fostering from Guardians of the Green Mile is to complete our Adoption/Foster Application. Click on this link to access the online form, http://www.jotform.us/Gotgm/Adoption_Application
