Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bear is a 1 year old, 65 pound handsome blend of Border Collie and Shepherd. Bear was surrendered to a shelter by his elderly owner when he became too frail to take of Bear. Most of Bear's first year was spent in a crate and denied the simplest pleasures of puppyhood.
Bear came to us as a "pancake" dog. With no life experience and no confidence, Bear would just flatten on the ground when unsure of any situation. He is now learning life beyond the crate and enjoying every minute of it.
Bear is good with other dogs but so enjoys the human contact. He is easily corrected for any wrongdoing with just a word.
Bear is a dream on a leas h- never pulling and enjoys a stop to small the roses when his handler does so. Although a little hesitant to enter a vehicle, he is an excellent passenger once inside.
Bear is just a big gentle soul. He would like a home that would cherish him and let him experience all that life has to offer.
