Ranchero is a puppy mill survivor and will require a patient, forever home to help him adjust to his wonderful new life. If you are interested in Ranchero, please read the following article to understand the challenges an adopter of a dog from a puppy mill may face.

Ranchero is a sweet, shy pup who has had a hard start to life. He was rescued from a puppy mill where he was not given the love and care he needs. Ranchero would love to be your companion if you have the patience and extra time to give. He is a young boy and has the potential to love and trust humans again. If you are looking for a small, sweet companion, come meet Ranchero. He is available for adoption now. Ranchero is currently staying with a wonderful foster volunteer until we can find him a forever home! If you are interested in adopting or would like more information on how to set up a meet-and-greet, please call the shelter at (760) 753-6413.
Business hours are Wednesday – Monday; 11 am to 5 pm. Closed Tuesdays.
An adoption application can be found on our website.
