Pugsley's Story...
This is Pugsley and she is a Pug who is around 10 years old. She was surrendered by her previous family because they just didn’t want her. Pugsley loves to follow you around and she likes to be in your lap. She is a laid back girl but has moments when she will play with a toy, although she loses interest fast. Pugsley is still learning the dog door and needs to be kept on a schedule so she won’t have any accidents in the house. She loves to sleep with her human if she can but is fine being crated. It is hard to lose your family after 10 years but Pugsley has adjusted well and is hoping there is someone out there who would love to give this sweet senior a forever home. Pugsley gets along great with all the other dogs in her foster home. She is current on all vaccinations, heartworm tested negative and has been kept on heartworm preventative and flea/tick control. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pugsley, a Overland Park Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
