Sunshine's Story...
EST DOB: 5/6/16
Sweet Sunshine has been sheltered in one home pretty much her entire life so she can come off shy at first but she is really just scared. Given some time and some gentle pets she warms up nicely but she does need time and space. Once she feels comfortable she is spunky and playful and enjoys the company of other dogs.

She likes to hang out with her people and she uses the doggie door like a pro. She still goes in her crate at night time since the new house noises tend to make her bark. During the day she isnn't so scared so she runs loose.

She is really going to make a great family pet if given the space and time to acclimate. She can't be rushed or forced. She needs patience.

All dogs are in happy foster homes so you MUST set-up an appointment by sending an email to info@arftx.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sunshine, a Flower Mound Pomeranian/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian/Chihuahua for sale in Flower Mound, or seeking a Pomeranian/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Flower Mound.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flower Mound already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flower Mound breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pomeranian/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flower Mound paves the way for another one to be saved.
