Kai is so gentle and sweet! Before he came into rescue he was cowering in the corner of a local shelter, too scared to move and now you can literally see him hop around after the resident dog in the home.
It has been amazing watching him come out of his shell as he learns that the world isn't so scary. Kai took no time at all to open up in his foster home. We are pretty sure he could win an award for doing the best on car rides. He just hops on in and likes to lay in the backseat seeing where you're going next. He's a little timid when he goes new places, but his confidence is so much higher when he has another dog with him. He absolutely adores the resident dog in his foster home and any other dog he meets too. There is also a kitty in his foster home who he does well with!
Kai is doing great on his leash walks and loves to prance around with the other dog. He's working on this potty training thing and he has a great start so far and knows to tell his foster mom when its time to go! He hangs out his kennel when his foster parents aren't home.
He loves chewing on bones and playing on toys with stuffing. The best part to him is pulling the stuffing out, but doesn't everyone love that?
