Chip's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Chip's Story...
This is Chip. We think he is a little Yorkshire Terrier mixed male. Tiny little guy, he currently weighs only about 9 lbs and is about 6 yrs old. Little Chip is social and friendly with the other small dogs he meets and is VERY social and friendly with people. He will ask to be picked up and sit in your lap and give a few licky kisses. In our foster home, Chip does well with both small breed male and female dogs. We are not sure how he would do with cats; a meet and greet might tell us more on
how he might do with your current pets. He is intimidated by big dogs. Chip is good at the groomers and doesn't mind his dog baths and likes to be brushed.

Chip is crate trained, rides well in the car, and is a pleasure to walk on the leash. We think Chip will make an excellent companion for some lucky person or family. He is ready to be someone's best walking partner and best buddy and lap partner. Chip is neutered, current on vaccinations and microchipped.

If you are interested in adopting Chip, please visit our website, www.friendsofcanines.org, and check out our Adoption Process and fill out an adoption application. Chip's adoption fee is $200.

Thanks for considering this lovely little Yorkie mix!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chip, a Tracy Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Tracy, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Tracy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tracy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tracy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tracy paves the way for another one to be saved.
