Hello, my name is Tayylor! I joined Ruff Start Rescue from a Texas shelter. There I was found as a stray and was in an overly packed shelter.
I’m really happy in my foster home. I love everyone - seriously, I do! I also love to play with toys and will take them all back to my dog bed if I can.
I get along well with cats, dogs and kids of all ages! I am playful and affectionate.
I am a smart girl and so eager to please. I enjoy going on walks, but I get nervous when cars drive by. I do well in cars though!
I need a family committed to helping me build more confidence, but my foster mom says I’m very trusting so I will learn quickly from those I love.
Please help share me and my story and I hope we can find me a home soon!
I was diagnosed with heartworm and am currently going through treatment for this. I am eligible to be adopted as part of our "Foster to Adopt" program until she is Heartworm negative.
If you are interested in me, please fill out an adoption application at www.ruffstartrescue.org. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal. Once we receive your application, a placement coordinator will be in contact with you as soon as possible.
Please check out our website, www.ruffstartrescue.org for more details and additional pictures on any of our animals!
All Ruff Start dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention (dogs) as well as heartworm tested (dogs).
Ruff Start Rescue is a foster based rescue. Animals are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a facility where animals are kept.
