Mia's Story...
"Hello, I am Mia, a spayed female 5-month old tabby kitten who weighs in at 6 pounds. I am Archie's sister. We can be adopted together or seperately. I am healthy, tested negative for feline leukemia and AIDS. I am fully vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP.
I have brown stripes and am very curious. I love to out of windows inside your house and play with toys. I am litterbox trained.
I was born as a feral kitten behind a beauty shop, but due to love and compassion, I was rescued, worked with and am no longer feral. I am shy, but I will warm up to you with your time and patience. Currently, I am in foster care and ready to be your 100% indoor house cat.
My adoption fee is $50. If you are interested in meeting me, please call Debby/Harry at 901-96-5926 or 901-652-5789 or email at: revsofmathew@earthlink.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia, a Memphis Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Memphis, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Memphis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Memphis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Memphis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Memphis paves the way for another one to be saved.
