Important Note

RILEEY is best friends with JASPER. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
RILEEY was an owner surrender due to his mums severe decline in health. We know little information about him until we get his paperwork, but he is approx 15-20 years old. He has a brother named JASPER who is a little bigger than him and HADEN is also part of their little pack. RILEEY weighs around 11 pounds. He does appear to be blind in one eye, but is so very sweet and just loves to lie on your lap and sleep.

We currently feed SPORTMIX Wholesomes Chicken Meal & Rice Formula, a 4* (a per www.dogfoodadvisor.com) GRAIN FREE food along with pro-bioitics and immune support supplements listed on the available dogs page!

RILEEY, JASPER and HADEN are available for adoption together through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue. If you can give these senior boys the life that they deserve and the finances to be able to give them all care that they need, please contact us to discuss.

If you are interested in adopting these precious souls, please complete and submit the adoption contract on our website. We ask for two personal references and a veterinary reference. It generally takes 2-3 days to process applications, as long as we are able to speak to your vet and references.

RILEEY, JASPER and HADEN are located at the rescue in Sebec, Maine. We post in various states along the east coast and Canada where we have had lots of successful adoptions to enable more exposure for these beautiful saved souls. Families will need to be prepared to travel to the rescue to meet and take home their new best friend. Sebec is located inbetween two small towns, Dover-Foxcroft and Milo, both approximately 6 miles away and the closest major city is Bangor (approx 45 miles). Many families travel and make a mini-vacation out of the trip and stay in beautiful Maine for the weekend, however, if this is not possible and there are options to arrange transport, we will work with you to make it happen.

About Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue-NH

About Our Rescue Group...

Founded by Jenny an English woman who found her way to Texas on 14th February 2011 in San Antonio, Texas we saved dogs from the high kill shelters in Texas.

In July 2015, Jenny relocated herself and the rescue to the beautiful state of Maine, it's weather and people much like that of her home in Northern England.

We still save dogs from the high kill shelters in Texas where dogs have just 3 days to be saved. We vet them, they have veterinary examination and are issued with health certificates and then transported to the rescue in Sebec, Maine.
