Major's Story...
Ten HUT! Major on the premises, here to inspect his troops for the best possible home! Major is the commander of his own army - the Army of Cute! This 5 month old puggle puppy is all pug, all beagle, and all wiggle. He arrived at ACL when his owner's job changed, and he didn't have time to devote to a puppy like Major any longer. Major is looking for that perfect home that wants all that a puggle puppy has to offer - lots of kisses, snuggles, and play time, as well as all the training and patience puppies require. He'll do well with tolerant, playful dogs and tolerant, playful children of all ages. He's at a great age to introduce to the right cat. With Major, a combination of playtime and learning time will make for a great adult dog. Because he's so young, Major's adoption requires a refundable $100 training deposit to ensure he goes to a fun puppy class to teach him his manners!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Major, a Oak Park Pug/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Beagle for sale in Oak Park, or seeking a Pug/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Oak Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Beagle breeders who help with Pug/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
