Moses's Story...
Meet Moses - he is an adorable 10 week old Shitzu/Boston Terrier mix. Weighing in at 3.4lbs, he is expected to be 6-8lbs full grown. Along with his siblings, Meja and Murphy, the 3 cuties will surely make sweet little companions. Great with kids, they are a little nervous around big dogs. Great with cats! Available to arrive in the northeast Saturday 2/4!

Our dogs are fostered in loving homes in Georgia and transport north once adopted. We have transports that arrive every Saturday. Our puppies get adopted very quickly so if you want a puppy, please fill out an application right away at http://www.sosrescuega.org/application to improve your chances.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moses, a Southbury Shih Tzu/Boston Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Boston Terrier for sale in Southbury, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Boston Terrier puppy from a breeder in Southbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Boston Terrier breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
